The Basics

Sunex uses its Rapid Rise dual piston system, closing the gap from the floor to the load much more quickly than single piston systems. 7-1/2 pumps are all it takes to reach its full 20″ lift. Once it’s under load, Pascal’s hydraulics law takes over and it raises at a slower rate.

Digging Deeper

This Sunex 3-ton aluminum floor jack weighs just 58 pounds thanks to its aluminum construction. It’s a lot lighter than steel designs, but it’s still 58 pounds to move around your shop floor.

Your job is a little easier once you’re under the frame thanks to side handle that let you reposition the jack. Wider track wheels also help move around easily.

The handle is nice and long, giving you a bit of a break in how much muscle you need to add to the system. It unscrews into 2 pieces separate from the jack so storing it for roadside assistance takes up a lot less room.

On the safety side, overload and bypass safety valves act as a limiter so you aren’t able to lift beyond its 3-ton capacity or overextend the ram.
