Has WD-40 Been Taking Yoga Classes? Thatโs One (Not-So-Well-Thought-Out) Theory About the New WD-40 EZ-Reach
Thereย arenโtย typically a lot of new products that come out from WD-40. After all, the 40th formula that worked for water displacement hasnโt changed since 1953 when the Rocket Chemical Company set out to improve solvents and degreasers for the aerospace industry. Weโre all used to the spray and the straw. A while back we got the flip straw tipped WD-40 Smart Straw. Today we are introduced to WD-40 EZ-Reach; the flexible straw solution to getting that all important formula where it needs to go.
โWD-40 EZ-REACH was designed with our end-usersโ needs and wants in mind.ย This new delivery system gives trade professionals and DIYers the ability to reach the unreachable and accomplish difficult tasks in overhead areas, under the sink plumbing components, or specific sections in motors and engines, among numerous other uses.โ

We all know the joke โ If it moves and it isnโt supposed to, use duct tape. If it doesnโt move and itโs supposed to, use WD-40. For the most part, thatโs accurate. With WD-40 EZ-Reach, getting the formula into hard to reach areas like car engines is easier. The new flexible straw holds whatever 8 inch shape you manage to work it into. David C. Smith is already working a dog figure thatโฆ well, never mind. He wonโt be able to make something that complex anyway. It looks like the 14.4 ounce can is going to retail under $8.
WD-40 is having some fun with this announcement. A 30 second video on their product page features a rather flexible young lady working her way into a tool cabinet only to magically be replaced by a can of WD-40 EZ-Reach. Theyโve also included an outtake video and meme creator to help you make it through an otherwise boring work day.
