Tom Gaige's Tool Kit

Thomas Gaige currently lives in Central Florida. With a degree in mechanical engineering and over 17 years of experience in the consulting engineering business, he decided to leave that and pursue being a contractor. The engineering was a good experience, but the need to get dirty was never fulfilled in the office.

Since he was a youngster, Tom has always liked working with his hands and building things. With his well-equipped shop, he has tackled projects like restoring a classic BMW, building furniture, automotive bodywork, rebuilding a fiberglass boat, swapping out car engines, cabinet building, and a host of other things. As a licensed contractor, he has done it all from rough framing, crown molding, custom marble showers, built-in cabinets, to creative design solutions.

Combining his mechanical background and his love of building things is why he is so interested in tools. For Thomas, the tool is the starting place of almost any project. He believes that choosing the right tool is as critical as the final product you are trying to achieve.
