The New And Improved Stanley Safety Knife

The Stanley FatMax Box Top Safety Knife

This model features a spring-loaded blade that automatically retracts when you release the pressure on the squeeze trigger. It features a box top guide with an integrated tape splitter. Its “easy trigger squeeze” technology reduces strain while cutting as well.

It has three blade depth settings, as well as a lockout setting that helps avoid accidental blade exposure. Additionally, this model features a rounded-off blade tip that should help keep the contents of that box safer and reduce accidental job site stabbings.

This Stanley Safety Knife features a slip-resistant bi-material grip, extra blade storage in the handle, and tool-less blade change capability. The housing also features a helpful lanyard hole.

Stanley FatMax Replaceable Head Or Blade Models

These models of the Stanley Safety Knife come in three varieties. The Single-Sided Pull Cutter (FMHT10358) features a replaceable head. The other two models, double-sided pull cutters, are almost identical. One of them features a replaceable blade (FMHT10372), and the other allows you to replace the entire head (FMHT10361). Beyond those distinctions, these three models carry the same feature sets.

Stanley FatMax Disposable Pull Cutters

The new FatMax lineup also includes some disposable models. The Single-Sided Round Tip Pull Cutter (STHT10357) works well for punching through shrink wrap and film. Similar in appearance, Stanley designed the standard Single-Sided Pull Cutter (STHT10356) with a hook piercer that can punch through single and double wall corrugate. Finally, the Double-Sided Pull-Cutter (STHT10360) features a double-sided cutting head, just like the name would indicate. All of these variations of the Stanley Safety Knife are available singly or in 10-packs.
