The Mg in the model number is for, as you probably guessed, magnesium, which the body is constructed from to make it lighter at only 2.6 pounds. Depth of drive adjustments are achieved easily with a thumbwheel and a simple selector switch allows the user to choose between bump fire and sequential fire applications. This finish nailer accepts 18 gauge 1/4โณ crown staples that range from 1/2โณ to 1-9/16โณ and has a capacity of 110 fasteners. The air inlet swivels to help avoid tangled air hoses.
So what exactly is so innovative about the Senco SLS150Mg that we gave it an award? That would be due to its oil-free motor. Sure, I know that they are becoming more common, and weโre seeing them in the air compressors a lot. This is a 1/4โณ crown stapler though, and yes, that is innovative.
