SAFETY SPEED 7000 PANEL SAW

Safety Speed Mfg. showed off its new 7000 panel saw, designed as an affordable and accurate panel-cutting solution for home centers and medium to large shops. The 7000 saw is a high-capacity production machine that appears to be ideal for virtually any size commercial shop and retails for approximately $ 7,600. It can be ordered in a 2 HP, 1-phase motor configuration (a ~$300 option) or the standard 3 HP, 3-phase continuous duty induction motor version.

Safety Speed 7000 Panel Saw Overview

The Safety Speed 7000 Panel Saw carriage rides on two aluminum anodized extruded beams with integrated linear V-Guides to allow the machine to deliver an accuracy of .015โ€. The steel frame appears rugged and features support panels that appear to be robust enough to withstand significant abuse, so you donโ€™t have to baby it.

Model 7000 offers new and existing commercial customers a more affordable vertical panel saw. The Safety Speed 7000 Panel Saw is a step up from the companyโ€™s C, H, or 6800 series vertical models, offering an alternative to sliding table saws that utilize similar induction motors. The 7000 vertical panel saw is very similar to the companyโ€™s 7400 model, using the same Baldor induction motor, for example, but features some minor design changes to reduce costs.
