Metabo HPT 1 1/32-Inch Rotary Hammer Performance and Design
If youโre not already familiar with this line of products, there are two variants โ the SDS Plus and the SDS Max. The difference between the two comes down to shank and maximum bit sizes and, thus, drilling capability.
The SDS Plus has a 10mm shank, and the Max has an 18mm. As such, SDS Plus bits are generally better for lighter-duty jobs.
The Metabo HPT 1 1/32-inch SDS Plus runs on an 18V or 18V/36V MultiVolt battery and features a brushless motor. Together, the two deliver 2.3 ft-lbs. of impact energy, 950 RPM, and 4,300 BPM.
