Kobaltโs 10-Piece SAE Combination Wrench Set is made in the USA and includes 10 different SAE-sized wrenches from 1/4-inch to 7/8-inch. The wrenches are drop-forged and have a nice textured grip so that they wonโt easily slip out of hand during use. We found that even when our hands were oily, the wrenches stayed put. They also worked very well with gloves, which is important if youโre used to working with hand protection.
Testing and Using the Wrenches
We used the wrenches on a myriad of jobs. Our favorite was grabbing a 9/16โณ wrench and adjusting the rear-view mirrors on a 2002 Suzuki Volusia motorcycle. These wrenches just plain work, and they are built exceptionally well. We had no qualms about leaning on them and pulling as hard as needed to loosen even the most stubborn nuts. As far as a compliment goes, the best thing you can say about a wrench is that you donโt worry about it breaking during use. The 15-degree offset handle is more or less standard in the industry and offers better knuckle clearance during use.
