If At First You Don't Succeed, Screw, Screw Again

So you buy a houseโ€”a new house, mind youโ€”and you expect things to be done well. Thatโ€™s not the case for our beloved Managing Editor, Kenny Koehler. One side of his French Doors began sticking, so he prepared to make a little adjustment and foundโ€ฆwell, this:

Bad Hinge Work

Of course, this begs the question: did the builder install a used door, or was it just shoddy work from the word โ€œgoโ€? Either way, itโ€™s no surprise the door started to lean after seeing that many holes close together and how many of the screw threads werenโ€™t actually holding.

The more important question for our professional audience isโ€ฆ what would you do to fix it? Golf tees? Larger hinge screws?

Drop your suggestion in the comments below and help out folks that are sure to come across something like this in the future (probably in Kennyโ€™s neighborhood).
