Loweโs and Honda Power Equipment have announced that Loweโs will be a new retail partner for Hondaโs line of high-quality outdoor power equipment.

As of now, Honda products are available on Lowes.com, with more to roll into the companyโs brick-and-mortar stores nationwide within the coming weeks. Loweโs will offer a range of Honda OPE, including residential and commercial walk-behind mowers, generators, snowblowers, tillers, pumps, and string trimmers.

Hondaโs partnership with Loweโs will bring some of the OPE industryโs most durable and powerful products to the stores, making them more easily available for DIYers and Pros alike.

Thoughts on the New Partnership
Honda mowers and generators have a reputation that other brands envy, and their other OPE products are solid as well. Bringing Honda into Loweโs stores makes a lot of sense, especially on the consumer side.
Hondaโs HRR mower was selling some 300,000 units every year before being replaced by the Honda HRN series in late 2019. Thatโs a significant number of sales that Loweโs can expect to draw from.
Theyโre not alone, though; Home Depot also has some Honda models available in its stores and more online.
Hereโs whatโs interesting. In the commercial market, Husqvarna has been a partner with Loweโs on the Pro side of the business. Honda doesnโt currently manufacture ride-on mowers, but weโll have to wait and see what happens in the walk-behind sector.
