Boschโs 18V 450 CFM Blower Updates Lineup with Brushless Technology
While Boschโs power tool lineup runs deep, it has thus far been lacking in the cordless blower department. Until now, the brand has only had a single cordless blower on its 18V AmpShare battery platform. The new Bosch 18V 450 CFM blower aims to update this lineup with brushless technology, offering a significant performance boost compared to the previous iteration jobsite blower. The GBL18V-450N is Boschโs second iteration cordless blower. It features a BitTurbo brushless motor, which is a welcome upgrade compared to the brushed motor seen in the previous model.
The GBL18V-450N delivers airspeeds of up to 123 MPH, and air volume levels exceeding 450 CFM. These specs are a significant improvement compared to Boschโs first blower. Despite the old model achieving a higher top speed (167 MPH), the max air volume levels on the GBL18V-450N increased more than six-fold!

Like the last model, this blower is powered by Boschโs 18V AmpShare batteries, which are also compatible with several other power tool brands.

Compared to the previous iteration, the Bosch GBL18V-450N blower takes on a more traditional leaf blower appearance.
As a bare tool, it weighs 6.6 pounds, which is not out of the norm for a leaf blower, but itโs still almost 4 pounds heavier than the previous model. However, this makes sense, considering jobsite blowers like Boschโs earlier model tend to be smaller and lighter than leaf blowers.
Continuing with the design features, the GBL18V-450N has a trigger lock-on button to help reduce hand fatigue. At the top of the handle is also a variable speed dial, letting you set the airspeed to the task at hand.
